Timber Cleats, compact blocks of wood, serve the purpose of installing gravel boards within the bays of Closeboard fencing. The gravel board cleat prevents the gravel board from slipping down between the posts, essentially giving much more support, helping to increase the longevity as well as durability of your fence.
